The Volkswagen Jetta GLI delivers the quality and style of the compact Jetta sedan and adds sporty GLI elements and capabilities. In 2025, the VW Jetta GLI introduces a modernized exterior look. Its interior has also been retouched and added a new feature.
The Jetta GLI’s exterior improvements include a restyled front end with headlights, grille, and bumper updates. The bumper has a wide, downturned shape that connects to the triangular air intakes. The bumper and air intakes sport a red accent line. The wide, minimized grille has a light bar that seamlessly links to light bars, underscoring the headlights. At the rear, the taillight is now a full-width bar that spans the top of the trunk lid. The Jetta GLI continues to have an arched profile, slightly flared fenders, and crisp side accents.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Volkswagen Jetta GLI features a redesigned dashboard. The dashboard displays the all-new, 8-inch display screen for the infotainment system. The Jetta GLI also comes with a wireless charging pad, a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, an advanced Beats audio system, a panoramic sunroof, customizable lighting, heated front seats with ventilation, a wireless internet hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and others. Safety features include auto emergency braking, a blind-spot system, adaptive stop-and-go cruise control, and a forward collision warning.
You will not notice any changes to the Jetta GLI’s performance from behind the wheel. This sport sedan continues to have a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. This 228-horsepower unit is available with an eight-speed auto dual-clutch transmission or a six-speed manual transmission. The suspension features adaptive dampers for a smooth ride.
