
WOLFSBURG, Germany — Volkswagen is launching an Internet-based customer magazine for Apple iPad owners in Europe.
Called Digital Automotive Space or DAS, the magazine can be accessed via an exclusive iPad application that can be downloaded free from Apple's iTunes store. The availability of DAS coincides with the European launch of the iPad.
DAS will be published quarterly in Europe and will be offered in five languages. The magazine will feature stories, technical data and digital images, including 360-degree views of the products.
VW said a Web version of DAS will be launched in late June, enabling users to integrate content in Facebook and other social media. (source: inside line)
